Acute Heart Failure

Improving care for patients with acute heart failure
Improving care for patients with acute heart failure

An international group of experts has been collaborating with Oxford Health Policy Forum on a policy initiative aimed at improving care for patients with acute heart failure. Their report calls for the needs of patients with acute heart failure to be addressed by means of clear policy initiatives and rational redesign of patient management pathways and healthcare provision.

Evidence is presented to show how change at the policy level has the power to prolong life and promote efficient use of resources.
