Brain health – A Decade of Impact and the Next Chapter
MS Brain Health has played a pivotal role in advancing a paradigm shift in the management of MS. After a decade under the auspices of Oxford Health Policy Forum CIC and it’s HealthScience Communication partner Oxford PharmaGenesis, the initiative is changing hands.
The next exciting phase requires expertise that is beyond the remit of the policy forum and we are delighted that two long-standing partners will be embracing the opportunities to move forward in key areas.
MS International Federation (MSIF), the global umbrella organization for MS societies, will host the MS Brain Health website from the 30 June 2026 and support its member organizations to integrate the reports’ recommendations into national policy conversations. It aims to secure long-term impact by developing an Advocacy Toolkit.
MSBase, an international online registry for MS neurologists and others, will take forward the MS Brain Health Quality Improvement (QI) tool. They plan to further develop the QI tool into a digital, web-based resource to support healthcare professionals to monitor and deliver timely, high-quality care for people with MS.
The work and impact could not have happened without the many groups and individuals who have contributed to the success of MS Brain Health over the years. All of you have played a crucial part in creating a better future for people with MS and their families.
As we prepare to hand over the reins of MS Brain Health, let’s celebrate the many ways the initiative has helped to transform MS care and the impact of shared vision and collaboration.
